Congratulations, you made it through another week and are still kicking, despite the negative aspects!
Does it sound a little cliché? Well, sometimes we just need a little reminder that even though life may kick us down, there is always something to smile about and worth getting back up for.
As a blogger, sometimes I feel my significance is small in the HUMONGOUS world of blogging and the internet. Maybe it is, but just when I start thinking negative…something amazing happens and reminds me the reason I blog. A younger girl reached out to me for styling advice and inquired about finding certain brands for cheaper, and that is when it hit me…it doesn't matter the mass significance my blog makes. The only thing that truly matters is helping the girl who can’t figure out what to wear, or the woman looking to branch outside of her comfort zone into a whole new look, or the insecure girl that sits at the computer all day dreaming about gaining the confidence to make her mark on the world. The follower count does not matter because if one person reads my blog and is inspired, they will tell another, and eventually the word gets out. It may take two years, it may take three, but persistence is key. I will continue to pour out my inspirations to the few who are listening and I will continue to inform my readers of all the deals, sales, stores, and other things floating around in my brain, but when one person leaves my blog and is inspired, is what makes all the editing, photography, researching, and analyzing worth it.
