Sometimes pairing something unorthodox, like this suede necklace adorned with pearls and shells, with a streamlined piece (like this blazer from h&m) can be surprisingly rewarding and eye catching. I know, I preach about mixing blazers with different pieces a lot but blazers can be staples for any wardrobe or circumstance, depending how it’s styled. Here the army green jeans add a casual yet put together vibe and the blazer complimented by the striped shirt (also from h&m) finish off the look perfectly. What do you think? Something exciting happened last night. Something I have been waiting to do for weeks. 

The weather was finally perfect to wear a hoodie. That is right, folks; I wore a hoodie for the first time this Fall last night and it felt AMAZING. Which hoodie did I wear, you ask. Only my favorite Hurley one.

A hoodie is not pefect unless paired with leggings and Steve Madden boots, right? Right. 

Also, last night I discovered the perfect item to add to my wish list. Yes, this watch is flawless...thanks for noticing. Nordstrom I applaud you for making this beautiful gem of a watch unaffordable to college kids like myself. My favorite thing about this beautiful timepiece is the silver AND gold. It is absolutely breathtaking.

Here is an outfit I kept getting compliments on at school and work.

Pants: Red jeans from Lauren Conrad's collection found at Kohl's

Shoes: Paprika brand found at Tilly's (I wear these way too much, I know.)

Next, this is currently my favorite thermal via CHAPS brand found at Kohl's, Belk, and other fine retailers. The pearl necklace is from Zara.

These boots are definitely made for walkin'...right out of what store? TARGET of course. Lately, Target has been home to some of the trendiest and most affordable clothes and shoes that I have found. Inspired by brands like Tory Burch, Lauren Conrad (Kohl's), Steve Madden, Michael Kors, and other brands, these boots are priced at a shocking $39.99.

OOTD: Aztec Ash

Today was a casual yet warm Summer day and this is what I wore. At the beginning of the day, I ventured to lunch with one of my old friends; damn I love talks that stir up great & old times. Anyways, after that I decided to head to Target to check out the pillows to see if they had some to match the coverlet I finally picked out. Target was a fail and I only ended up buying ibuprofen and eos lip balm. Lolz. However, I did find a 75 dollar umbrella for the porch I don't have but am still searching for with the perfect house attached to it :) Finally, to wrap up my day I stopped by goodwill and picked up a fabulous pair of Vintage Levi's and cut them into these shorts...what do you think? I also attached the studs, found on Etsy, with the stud attached thing from Wal-Mart. Ha. No but really, I love them. I hope your Sunday was laid back and simple because that's its purpose.
