Field of Daisies

Spring is here and flowers are popping up everywhere, even on our clothing. One of the most prevalent trends in fashion right now is daisy print. Forever 21 has so many amazing daisy printed pieces to choose from and some of my favorite brands such as Brandy Melville, Free People, and Urban Outfitters are right on trend as well.

Below are some of my favorite DAISY PRINTED ITEMS:

#1: Daisy Love Cami from Forever 21: At first glance this tank looks like something from Brandy Melville with its floral print and slouchy fit, but it is indeed from Forever 21 and only $12.80!

#2: Speaking of Brandy Melville, one of the cutest daisy printed pieces I have seen thus far is the Carolina Daisies Top. BM is known for graphics and this is one of my favorite ones the company has made. Be aware of the weird sizing, Brandy Melville's tops are usually one size.

#3: I love love the Truly Madly Deeply Daisy Cropped Tee from Urban Outfitters and I know you will too. Just add cutoffs and a flower headband and boom-instant spring/summer outfit.


How I style the daisy trend: Cream crochet items really look amazing with daisy print because the petals of the daisy match the crochet and D'Orsay flats + a doctor's satchel add a trendy factor!

Mention Monday: Brandy ♥ Melville | Layla Hoodie - Knits - Clothing

Can we talk about Brandy Melville for a minute? I found out about this company around a year ago but could never bring myself to pay the money for just a t-shirt. A few months ago I was in Pac Sun and noticed the Brandy Melville line. I looked around the collection and was immediately hooked. I kept eyeing a muscle tee with a collage of vintage cameras on it and finally ended up buying it. Words cannot express how comfy and effortlessly chic the shirts actually look. I never thought the day would come when I spent 20 dollars on “just a t-shirt” but needless to say, I love it.
I will post a picture of how I style it in an upcoming blog post and will link it in this one as soon as I do.
The next thing I really want to buy from Brandy Melville is the LAYLA Hoodie. Surprisingly enough, the jacket is only thirty dollars (linked below). I have heard their hoodies are indescribably soft; which is essential and uber comfortable.

My next splurge will definitely be this striped hoodie. I really like how the jacket has a hi-lo effect. Ya know, longer in the back than the front which adds a nice silhouette for Brandy Melville skirts but is also good with jeans and sweatpants. Clothes bring me such joy, especially the laid back California style of Brandy Melville.
