Shopping HAUL

I did a little shopping and decided to do a blog post haul on what I found.
The places I went are SEPHORA, Target, and LUSH.
The first is TARGET.
#1: ELF Beach Party Nail Polish Set. I was really excited about this because of the summery look of the packaging. I haven’t tried the formulation of the polishes but the colors come off very beautiful and tropical like.

#2: ELF Body Glow powder. I’m not really sure the exact use for this, I just found it to be pretty and sparkly.IMG_0388
#3: ELF Flawless Finish Foundation. I have never tried their foundation so if you have any tips or pointers, leave them in the comments below.  IMG_0382
#4: ELF Eyelid Primer. I have never used anything but Urban Decay’s Primer potion, so let me know if you have used this and what your thoughts are on it.IMG_0400
#5: ELF Tone Correcting Concealer. I usually use Maybelline or Clinique concealer. If anybody has tried this, let me know your thoughts on it. IMG_0384
#6: Shimmering Facial Whip. I heard this makes a good highlighter for the tops of cheekbones, with blush and contour bronzer under it.

The next place I went is SEPHORA.

#1: Sephora Mini Travel Brush set. I personally love Sephora make up brushes and when I saw this pink travel set, I knew I had to get it.

#2: Two shades of BUXOM lip gloss by Bare Minerals.

#3: Pink, Black, and Yellow hair clips
#4: Smashbox Primer sample
#5: SEPHORA Mirror (free)
The last place I went is LUSH.

#1: ROOTS Hair Treatment. If you have never tried this stuff, you are seriously missing out on beautiful, healthy, and shiny hair. I just discovered this mask about two weeks ago and am already obsessed.

I think it is really cool how on every LUSH container, it shows the person who mixed the products together.

I bought these from Sally’s Beauty Supply to put on after I apply the ROOTS hair treatment. The package comes with 10 and was under three dollars.

#2: Grease Lightening Tea Tree Cleanser. I had never tried this prior to buying it, but I absolutely love it.
Have you ever tried this cleanser or any LUSH products? Tell me in the comments below.
Let me know if y’all enjoyed this haul type blog post and I will try to do more like it.
I hope y’all are enjoying the quality of my pictures as much as I am. I absolutely ADORE my new Canon. If you are thinking of buying a new REBEL, I HIGHLY suggest it because it is my new favorite toy.
I am still learning all about it, if you have any comments, tips, or suggestions on ways to improve my photography skills, let me know below.
I hope today was everything you hoped for.
XOXO,

Announcements and LUSH

I just received word that my Birchbox has shipped. I am actually going home because of my Spring Break so I sent the box to my mother’s house. Expect an in depth Birchbox post after I receive it.
I also just received my income tax money a couple of weeks ago and I’m going to treat myself to a camera, a really freakin’ nice one. So expect new and improved angles and pictures in general. I am super duper excited.
The purpose of this post is to announce those things but to also introduce you to my new found love:
LUSH Cosmetics.
If you haven’t heard of LUSH they are a brand out of the U.K. who produce all natural cosmetics. When I say cosmetics, I mean skincare, hair care, foot care; basically, anything amazing for your body, LUSH has it.
I had the pleasure of going to my first LUSH store this weekend and it was an overall awesome experience. The staff was extremely helpful and had answers to all of my questions and concerns. LUSH also provides free samples of their products if you have never been or just want to try out something new. I requested a sample of the ROOTS hair mask (which I have heard so much about and was the original reason I ventured into LUSH) and also I needed a new moisturizer for my face so I chose Celestial for normal/dry skin. I was EXTREMELY pleased by the results of my first hair mask. It took out the frizz, smells amazing, and left my hair bouncy, wavy, and super soft.
I also purchased a MINT face masque from LUSH that I am also very pleased with. For one, the smell is so invigorating and clean. Next, it feels really great on the skin and dries well. It’s not too tough. Laughing is a little difficult while it is on your face Winking smile I tried that. Third, the after result is like a new face. My skin has been abused this winter as I haven’t been properly washing and hydrating my face. (I’m sorry, face.) I feel like my face will be thanking me after a few more applications of the MASK OF MAGNAMINT. <--- Lush’s proper name
I purchased MANY more products from LUSH and can’t wait to have time to go through them all this coming up week. I promise to do a post about how I feel about each product I purchased.
Finally, here is the picture of the mask and the samples I picked out. I’ll post all three so you can see the different sizes:

2. Celestial moisturizer sample (face)

(Me being silly and shocked about how the texture feels and the overall appearance of the mask. I absolutely love it now.)
I forgot to mention LUSH products are 100 percent handmade and are made from vegetables and other natural things. LUSH products do not contain harsh chemicals and only enhance your body, not hurt.
Last but not least, they DO NOT test any of their products on animals and are completely against animal testing for cosmetics. Do some research on them or just visit their website by clicking here.
I STRONGLY RECOMMEND THESE PRODUCTS AND EXPECT SOME FUTURE REVIEWS COMING.

I hope y’all are having a wonderful Thursday.

XOXO,
