EBAY Statement Necklaces {Mention Monday}

You know those bold and colorful statement necklaces that can be found for at least $20 at boutiques? What if I told you there is a way around paying more than the necklace is worth? You’d be all over it, right? Well I ordered a few necklaces from… (get ready) EBAY. Yes, Ebay. What’s the catch? You have to be aware of the sellers, seller’s overall percentage, and the item quality. Which statement necklaces did I purchase?

This beauty was the priciest of the bunch that I received but was still only $11.99. Splurging was necessary on this popular piece because it is a J. Crew dupe and I have been lusting over it for months. {Similar}
IMG_2167 This mint green baby was only $4.99. YES, I repeat $5.29. Talk about a steal, right? {Similar} IMG_2161
This one is such an odd color pink but I love it. It is somewhere between coral and pearl pink, maybe coral pearl? {Similar}

Now, words cannot describe my love for this dream catcher-style necklace but it arrived tangled and when I went to untagle it, it broke. Now, I do understand I paid under five dollars for it, but I had no idea it would be like this. Luckily, my mom fixes jewelry so I called her and she walked me through how to fix it, but it was not easy. I am sure they would give me money back but it took so long to ship here, I refuse to do that. Just be extremely careful because most likely, these items will be coming from overseas and have a long way to travel. Keep it in mind when ordering. {Similar}

In fact, this is how I styled the red for today’s outfit of the day (OOTD):photo 1 Sifting through all of the necklaces on Ebay can be a time consuming process but it is completely worth it. All of these items were free shipping but did take at least 3 weeks to get here. If you plan on ordering some for the holidays, order them now and do not hesitate because the holidays are going to creep up soon enough.
