Faux leather leggings

One of the season's hottest trends this year is faux leather leggings. If you are like me, and conveniently purchased a pair last year during the end of winter sale, then it is time to bring them out ladies. If not, stay tuned to find out where you can find a pair for an affordable price.

First, let's see how to style faux leather leggings:

My favorite way to wear any pair of leggings is in layers, and adding a sweater seems appropriate (considering it has been around 40 degrees for like 2 weeks).

A more casual take on styling faux leather leggings is pairing them with a sweatshirt, fur vest, and suede booties for running errands or shopping and a lunch date.

Fashion queen, Olivia Palermo, rocks a similar look but wears an amazing pair of sneakers to add to the casual, laid back, effortless "I woke up like this" vibe; I LOVE IT. What are your thoughts?

Faux leather is also known as "vegan leather", "leather look", "liquid leather", "pleather", etc.

Where can you purchase?
Charlotte Russe- $14.99
JC Penney- $24.99
Amazon- $32.00

Are you tempted to try a pair of faux leather leggings? Tell me in the comments!

Thanks for reading and we will talk again soon.

Gift guide 2014 coming your way sometime next week so look out for it!

Free People Collection

Has anyone else noticed the hippie chic and always fabulous Free People brand has launched a collection with BELK? Personally, I love Free People, but can’t exactly afford all of the pieces. If you are unsure what the brand Free People is, click here to access the website (not Belk). I cannot describe the genuine love I have for these clothes. Free People’s style is so different and boho chic. If the word hippie chic was in the dictionary, I am pretty sure a picture from Free People would be the image. Unfortunately the clothes are ridiculously expensive. However, it seems to me this line with BELK is to include frugal ladies like you and me in the hippie chic awesomeness of their clothes. I am by no means saying the line is cheap, but Belk offers discounts and things Free People does not so if you combine a few coupons, you might could score a steal of a deal! (Just an idea).
Some of my favorite items include:

Please tell me this is a new collaboration and I have not been completely missing the bus to Free People Neverland for months or (my worst fear) years. Has anyone else noticed this collaboration and if so, when?
By the way, I noticed some of the items I mentioned have sold out since this post was drafted, I attached alternative links to fix this issue :)
